Find the Meaning
Welcome to the Digital Salon of mypapergate.net
Not everything we know gives meaning to our lives.
History provides facts.
Philosophy asks questions.
Literature opens new perspectives.
Artificial intelligence processes information.
But meaning emerges only when knowledge meets experience, memory, responsibility, and human dignity.
Find the Meaning is therefore more than the title of this website.
It is an invitation.
An attitude.
A quest.
This quest connects everything published on mypapergate.net.
From the Celts to artificial intelligence.
From Spinoza to Ingeborg Bachmann.
From Europe to Digital Humanism.
Not everything can be explained once and for all.
But everything deserves to be questioned for its meaning.
A Digital Life’s Work
mypapergate.net is not an ordinary blog.
Not a conventional author’s website.
Not a finished book.
It is an open-ended digital life’s work.
A place where history, philosophy, literature, science, and artificial intelligence enter into conversation.
This work is not printed.
It grows.
With every essay.
With every historical discovery.
With every new question.
Why I Write
Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of taking on many different roles.
I was a printer.
An entrepreneur.
An inventor.
A local politician.
A cultural organiser.
And always a reader.
Today, I see myself above all as an author.
Not because I possess the answers.
But because I want to ask questions.
What concerns me is not so much
how intelligent machines may become,
but rather
how human beings can remain human in the digital age.
This question runs through my entire work.

Past and present meet.
Historical figures enter into imaginary conversations with the questions of our time.
History becomes a source of orientation.
Literature opens up new perspectives.
Facts and Literature
All historical contributions are based on careful research.
Sources, documents, archaeological evidence, and scholarly literature form the foundation of my writing.
Where historical facts speak, I follow them.
Where they fall silent, literature begins.
Journeys through time, dialogues, and imaginary encounters are not intended to distort history.
They are intended to make historical connections more accessible and meaningful.
I consciously distinguish between documented history and literary imagination.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is part of this project.
But it is not its author.
It assists me with research,
structure,
linguistic precision,
visual design,
and creative experimentation.
I ask the questions.
I choose the subjects.
I verify the sources.
I take responsibility for every word published.
Semantics is one of the central foundations of modern artificial intelligence. It concerns meaning, context, and the relationships between concepts.
Modern AI systems do more than calculate patterns: they can process language and generate responses that reflect semantic relationships, although this should not be confused with human understanding.
They respond almost instantly and are increasingly accessible everywhere – an expression of what is known as ubiquitous computing.
The Magic Mountain Institute
The Magic Mountain Institute (MMI Future Lab), imagined on the Schatzalp above Davos, Switzerland, is the literary and intellectual laboratory of this project.
Here, thinkers from different centuries meet.
Thomas Mann.
Karl Popper.
Hannah Arendt.
Spinoza.
Eric Kandel.
Ingeborg Bachmann.
And many others.
Not as historical reconstructions.
But as literary experiments.
The Future Lab asks:
Which ideas from previous generations can help us shape a more humane future?
Digital Humanism
I believe
that technology should serve humanity,
not the other way around.
That knowledge brings responsibility.
That freedom requires education.
That democracy depends on dialogue.
And that literature does not lose its meaning in the age of artificial intelligence.
Perhaps it even gains a new one.
A digital book that invites a response?
An Invitation
When you read these pages,
you become part of this project.
Because thinking develops through dialogue.
A book comes to an end.
A conversation does not.
This work, too, will never be complete.
It grows.
With every thought.
With every encounter.
With every new question.
Find the Meaning.
Preserving human dignity in the digital age – that is the purpose of this project.
